What We Believe
STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who created the universe and everything in it.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6 ; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).
2. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and everything required for salvation and Christian living is contained, therein. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
3. We believe we have “eternal life” by accepting God’s plan of Salvation which is accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are saved by grace through faith which is free from God.
(Ephesians 2:8; 1 John 5:10-12; Romans 10: 9; Acts 4:11-12; Colossians 2:6 1 Timothy 2:5)
4. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
5. We believe as Christians we are to love God and all others; we should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. We believe the Holy Spirit gives us the power to live a Christian life.

6. We believe Jesus Christ is coming again for his church. The righteous will inherit eternal life and the unrighteous eternal death. (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17; Revelation 20: 11- 15)
7. We believe Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion) are to be practiced as ordinances of the church.
